Community and Panchayat meetings are held for the awareness. Door to door awareness campaign is launched. Also, the project is integrated with local Vijay Vihar police station and DCW.

Patterns are discussed and students who can’t afford highly paid coaching are prepared for the exams. Expert faculty who are providing coaching in other institutes volunteer and coach needy students.

Civil services are backbone of Indian government system. Since beginning, civil services aspirants are trained on mainly interview patterns. We also conduct mock interviews for the students who have appeared / passed mains examination. General coaching in provided on how to crack interviews and on what to prepare for the same.

Workshops on Sexual Harassment At Work Place

Samkalp Education Foundation organized a day long workshop on Sexual Harassment at Workplace at(CDA) Air force station Subroto Park premises in New Delhi on the 3rd June, 2019. Mr. Munnalal Jain was spokesperson and he expressed his ideas about the increasing cases of sexual violence against women/girls. Earlier, initiating the discussions, Staff of department also expresses his ideas that women are not reporting about the sexual harassment cases at workplace. He added that the need of the hour is to involve State Human Rights Commissions in these matters and hold regional as well as national level meetings to come up with an action plan. Further, it is also necessary to involve the private sector to ensure that the top companies set up Internal Complaints Committee (ICC). Some of the notable observations of the participants were: Women victims hesitate in reporting sexual harassment by superiors at workplaces fearing repercussions; There is poor compliance of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Work Place (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 by the employers; There is no monitoring of the Redressal mechanism under the Act, which calls for penalty on the employer not constituting Internal Complaints Committee or implementing the other provisions.

Students Career Counselling

Students are often confused on what should be their career option after completing schools and even after completing college education. We informed them about the options they have in their life which gives a meaning to their life and also job and career satisfaction.

As a young person, I was concerned about the state of our environment. Joining Samkalp has given me the tools and knowledge to make a difference. Through their youth programs, I've learned about climate change, biodiversity loss, and sustainable living.
